Class Descriptions

FitnessYogaLite: A refreshing class for all, especially seniors, those new to yoga, or anyone who wants to chill. This class emphasizes postural awareness, basic yoga poses, stretching, and relaxation. Special attention is given to correct form and alignment, as well as the coordination of breath and movement. Props such as blocks and straps are used to help you get the most out of the poses.
*Level of difficulty: Gentle/Beginning/Instructional

FitnessYoga: Sun Salutations, core fitness, and flowing sequences are expanded upon here, and the focus on synchronizing breath and movement continues. More challenging postures increase the strength, length, and tone of your muscles.
*Level of difficulty: Intermediate/Mixed Level

YogaFusion: Get ready to sweat during this heat-building workout! This class infuses Power Yoga with Pilates to further challenge your body and mind. If you are seeking added intensity, this class is for you. Strength, power, core stability, and deep flexibility are emphasized here.
*Level of difficulty: Intermediate/Mixed Level

FitnessYogaSculpt: PowerYoga sequences are blended with light hand weights to provide further strength gains and improve your stamina. This challenging class will give you the ultimate total body workout.

MatPilates: An introduction to Mat Pilates, designed to strengthen your muscles by focusing on the development of your "core" - your abdominals, hips, and back. This class emphasizes precise body alignment, which results in improved posture, flexibility, and strength.
