I.Q. Summer Adventure Camps

Ages: 5-12 years

Dates: Monday, June 16th through Friday, August 29th.

  • Session 1 : June 16 th – July 11 th (4 weeks)
  • Session 2: July 14 th – August 8 th (4 weeks)
  • Session 3: August 11 th – August 29 th (3 weeks)

Full- day Camp

  • Drop off any time 7 a.m. to 9 am. Pick up 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Cost: $37 per day (extra charge for attending field trips)
  • Campers bring their own lunch; drink in insulated bag with ice pack. We provide a snack in the morning and a snack in the afternoon. Early morning drop offs may also bring a breakfast snack and drink.

Half- day Camp

  • Morning Session: 7 a.m. to 12 noon.
  • Afternoon Session: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Cost: $25 per day (extra charge for attending field trips)

Discounts: Parents receive a 10 percent discount for registering a second child or for registering for a full session of camp. Parents receive only one discount.

Field Trips : Each Friday campers will experience a different off campus adventure. There is an extra charge for each of these trips. Parents will be billed separately for trips.

Drama : All full day and afternoon campers will be involved in our productions. There will be one production per session. Only those campers who attend 4 days per week will be considered for lead roles. Productions will be performed for the general public at the end of each session. Campers may also take an active role in set design, costuming or sound and lighting.

Personal Items: If campers choose to bring personal items to use during free time such as game boys, or I-Pods, Imagination Quest is not responsible for any lost or broken items.

    Full Day = $37/day
    Half Day = $25/day

    Registration Fee: $35 per child prior to April 1, 2008
    $45 per child prior to June 1, 2008
    $55 per child after June 1, 2008

    Tuition Due Dates:
    Session 1 tuition due by June 1, 2008
    Session 2 tuition due by July 1, 2008
    Session 3 tuition due by August 1, 2008

  • All tuition and registration fees are non-refundable
  • Parents are responsible for all tuition based on enrollment irregardless of attendance.
  • There will be no credit given for missed days for any reason – although campers may be able to make up a missed day within the same week.
  • Campers will be required to re-register for additional sessions if not previously registered.
  • Final field trip fees will be posted no later than June 1, 2008 and will be billed separately. Campers will not be permitted to attend field trips if the field trip fee has not been paid prior to the trip.

The Adventure Club’s philosophy is to tap into the interests of children and open the door to exploration, invention and experimentation. It is our hope that the skills children develop in childhood will last a lifetime. The Adventure Club Program enables children to interact with other children, their families and their communities. It promotes learning by doing and builds pride and positive self esteem. The Adventure club is committed to providing materials that meet the National Standards of learning in reading, language arts, math, science and social studies. In addition, children develop competencies such as critical thinking, computer literacy and independent hands-on-learning. The learning and playing environment tunes into the student’s interests and expands upon them. Through whole groups, cooperative groups, and individual activities, the members of the Adventure Club are empowered to make choices, try new things and become productive members of a group. The Adventure Club firmly believes that parent involvement is one of the significant reasons that children succeed in school. We ensure and support his involvement through on going open communication with our parents. The Adventure Club is dedicated to ensuring that all of our programs reflect the principles that we have established. Our teachers and director invite you to visit with us anytime.

Adventure Club Programs offers the following options

  • Morning Adventure club for grades K-3 only:
    (bussing arrangements must be made with the school prior to enrollment)
    Open 7 am until school begins
  • After School Adventure club
    From end of school day until 6 pm
  • Private Pre-K
    9am to 11:30 am daily
  • Drop in Adventure Club
    10:am – 6pm daily

K-Klub Morning and Afternoon Programs (Kindergarten Enrichment)

K-Club is an enrichment program that fosters a fun, safe, exciting learning environment. The children are exposed to a variety of activities that will help them learn, grow and develop. They will paint, listen to stories, learn silly songs and poems, make art projects and play with friends both inside and outside on the playground. The curriculum includes math, reading, science experiments, journal writing and encourages creativity.

Themes: Journey Through Space, Express Yourself, Fabulous Folk Tales, Holidays Around The World, Sensational Sea Life, Community Helpers, All About Animals (circus, jungle, zoo), Insects, Amazing Authors

Tuition is always due on, or before, the 15th of each month prior to services. Tuition is based on 10 equal payments irregardless of the number of days in the month – this is done for convenience only. If you wish to prepay for the year, there is a 10% discount off the total amount. We accept Visa/MasterCard. You can arrange to have your credit card billed each month. Tuition may be mailed or sent in with your child if you are paying monthly. Please keep in mind that a $25 late fee is assessed if tuition is not paid by the 25th of each month.

If my child is absent or gets picked up early from school? Please leave a message on 856-371-0515

What if there is a snow day? Please call 856-371-0515 to find out if any alternative program will be held at Imagination Quest children’s center. There will be a charge of $5 per hour for this program, but the missed snow day will be made up according to the revised school calendar at no charge.

What if there is a delayed school opening? Please call 371-0515 for further instructions. Typically we follow suit with the school. For example, if they open two hours late so will we.

What happens on half days? We expect that children will attend all programs as usual on half days. You must pack a lunch for your child. If your child will not be attending please call 371-0515 to notify us. If your child needs to attend and does not usually attend on that day, please call the above number to inform us. There is a $30 additional charge which must be paid on or before the date.

What happens if school is closed? Please see the Adventure Club calendar for closed dates. Please note that alternative programs are often held at Imagination Quest Children’s Center at a cost of $5/per hour. Registration in advance is necessary to attend these programs.

How do I contact the teacher in the program? Please call 856-371-0515 and leave a message. The teacher you need to speak with will return your call within 24 hours.

What if I need to pick up an extra day? You can leave a message at 371-0515 if you need to pick up a stray day. Please note an extra fee will be charged and must be paid in advance of the day. Please see the Drop in rate table on the fee schedule.

Do I get a tuition credit if I go on vacation for a week? Credit will be given for more than 5 consecutive days missed only if 2 weeks prior notice in writing is given

Can I put my child on hold? Children may go “on hold” without cost. However, we cannot hold spots in full programs and your child may lose his/her days and or spot if on hold.

Who should I call if I have any issues, concerns question?

Please call Lisa McQuade at 856-464-2334 for any questions that cannot be answered directly by your program teacher.

What should I do if I am running late to pick up?

If you are running late to pick up please call 371-0515 and leave a message. You will be charged $1 per minute after 6 pm and will be expected to pay when you pick up or the next day at the latest. Be sure to leave a message where you can be reached should it be necessary to contact you.


Meet our staff

The Adventure club is staffed with trained professionals that are commited to meeting the individual educational objectives of our students. Our teachers bring learning to life by enthusiastically introducing new, hands on learning opportunities. Lisa McQuade, owner-director, has been committed to enhancing extended learning opportunities since 1989 when she began her career as Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Centers. She subsequently worked with other alternative educational companies including Explore, Inc, and Nobel Learning Communities., Inc. In the fall of 2001 she formed the Adventure Club Programs. Ms. McQuade is known nationally as an expert in the field of after school programming and continues to provide professional development to educators throughout the country.
